All needles, hooks & knifes are modular.
The knifes are 1.2 mm thick (especially for grass tape yarn)
Actual pile height is 25 ( 55mm V-length)
The movement of the needlebar is almost on maximum (only 2 holes left ) see pic 1a 1b 1c
The movement of the hooks and knives are not on maximum (space enough for higher pile)
Changes to make to go 40 to 45 mm pile-height:
Change pushrods to get higher needlebar movement : those are type PANTERA ( pic 2 a & 2 c) must put other to win 2 cm height see pic 2 b = not expensive
Longer rockerarms pic 4 (second hand must be available on the market)
Put bed-plate 1.5 cm more down (is possible on this machine)
Put longer needles.
45 mm PILE HEIGHT can be achieved.
Machine Speed is maximum 800 RPM
This machine can do monofilament also, (they also do PA yarn on this machine) , but dTex must me > than 1800 dTex, because of the actual needles.
NOTE: Changes to the machine to make 45mm Pile Height cost Eur 7000 if done by Europe technician, its including all required parts.
Machine can do as is now from 10mm to 25mm pile height and with a cost of Eur 7000 can do from 10mm to 45mm.
