Fare Synthetic Fiber Spinning Line
The production of staple fibers is based on the extrusion and spinning of many continuous filaments of a specific size (titre in den or dtex). These filaments are collected into a large bundle (tow) which can include more than one million filaments. The tow is subsequently drawn, crimped, and cut into fibers of determined length. This specific line has only a few years in production and comes also with some of the elements as brand new.

There are 2 extruder motors.
Extruder motor 1 with 3 heads are from 2001. Also, Godet 1/2/3, Crimper, Cutter,… Controls and automation also renewed.
Extruder motor 2 with 6 heads was a bit older but is fully renewed in 2011 (all new cabinets and etc).
Complete new AZO dosing system from 2021
The automatization is renewed with PLCs from Schneider in 2011. This for the complete line. Same for DC and AC drives (Parker / Eurotherm).
DC Motors and etc of the equipment are good maintained and refurbished, around 2001
All the other parts of the line, mechanical are from 2001.

Siti 60:1 geared melt-pumps, Lafert 0.5 hp motor.
Extrusion head – 3 spinneret section, 20-30 spinnerets. Each head supplied by all three extruders (3 color capability)
Spinnerets – 3 blocks 7″ x 5″, 60 – 100 dies/block
Quench – Chilled water bath 30″ x 20″ x 30″ deep. 10’ section where fans or air knives can be used.
(2) Godet Sets, 3″W x 4″ dia, (1st & 5th), 3 rolls each, 5 hp each, NOT heated.
(3) Godet Sets, 3″W x 4″ dia, (2nd, 3rd, 4th), 7 rolls each, 5 hp each, NOT heated.

Line designed for mono or multi-filament. Reported only ran about 400 hrs for trials of 200-4000 denier nylon 6, PP, HDPE but should be able to run other resins.
Tenacity range reported to exceed 10 depending upon draw ratios. Ran fine deniers mostly with capacity limited to ~100 pph / extruder but could be higher with heavier deniers or for staple fiber production.
Production Capacity:
For finer filaments, it can do about 170Kg/hr.
For the 2000-2500 denier, 300-320Kg/hr.
NOTE: Line was previously operating with downstream accumulators and drawtwisters but these items are no longer available.
Takeup winders or crimper & cutter could be added to complete a filament or staple line.
