This card made synthetic fur and the card was extremely well maintained. It was working mainly.
Polyesters and Acrylics 1.3 dtex to 6.7dtex. The range was a delivery weight from 10 to 16 gm/mt and the card easily produced 150 kg/hr.
Complete with Hopper feed and delivery into 700mm can with auto can change. Or 1000mm can if preferred.
So, this card will happily process fibres in the " mid-range " fibre, not a long staple, mainly average 40/60mm, sometimes a cut staple!
It ran mostly fibers 1,7dtex - 6,7dtex (17dtex), length 24mm - 60mm for high pile slivers.
This means , you have to control the fibres, so you cannot have large diameter workers/strippers and the swift at 900mm is enough.
On this card there is a first swift followed by a doffer and again you are carding that web, which means you obtain a very clean sliver or web at delivery) with a maximum number of fibres in material direction. (MD in opposition with CD cross direction).
