The line is offered for sale only as a complete combined singeing and mercerizing line.
The machine has always undergone regular scheduled maintenance. The aluminium burner bars, from which the gas exits, and the ceramic burner bricks were recently replaced.
The machine is equipped with automatic safety controls. Once the machine exceeds the minimum safety speed of 25 m/min, the burner ramps automatically move into working position and the flames ignite.
The singeing unit is equipped with two burner ramps. They can be configured for singeing on the face/face side or on the face/reverse side of the fabric.
The burners were dismantled to protect the aluminium bars containing the cooling-water channels. If left installed while the machine was stopped, they could have oxidised and become damaged.
To carry out a complete inspection in production, the factory would have to reassemble the burner ramps with the ceramic bricks, reinstall them on the machine and then dismantle them again if the customer decided not to proceed with the purchase. The factory is not willing to carry out this work solely for an inspection.
However, we can confirm and guarantee that the machine was fully in production and in perfect working condition when it was stopped.
